Creation process of the covers for the book "Matteo, the "Hurried" - Vol. I."

The initial concept of the project "Matteo, the 'Hurried' – Volume I" was related to the symbolism of boxes, metaphorically understood as places of protection. The maternal womb, for example, is like a "little box" that offers complete safety to the baby against external dangers. As mentioned earlier, the essence of this volume is permeated by the metaphor of boxes, representing the various scenarios in which the story's protagonist finds himself. With a touch of poetic freedom, I developed sketches of a large box to illustrate on the covers, in the most prominent space of the book, all the moments experienced by Matteo, from his birth to his arrival at home.
